Hyperlinks in Podcast Show Notes
How do I get hyperlinks to be clickable in Apple Podcast show notes

It was always the case that descriptions were plain text, and HTML and links were not rendered. However it's possble that if the description includes a full URL, some devices may recognize them as a URL and make it a working link, as happensn with most mail clients. If this is the cas you can include the URL but you can't control who can see it as a live link.
