Self recorded CD’s

A few years ago, I copied my whole CD collection into iTunes in my Microsoft computer. I recently purchased a new iPhone 15 and only music that I purchased through Apple will download. All of those that I actually purchased and spent the time recording now do not work I am unable to play my owned music in my vehicle via Apple CarPlay or get it to load into my phone. I’m not happy. I wish someone had told me or I would not have upgraded to this.
