Downloading attachments from Mac Outlook

I have been using the Outlook app on my Mac, but all of a sudden, received emails with attachments are not downloading the attached documents. I'm getting the message "Downloading attachment from server..." This message is greyed out, and I can't do anything to force the download or modify it. I tried resetting the Outlook account and deleted and re-added the account, but the issue still persists. The problem is not with the attachment size, as I have confirmed. My account is configured as an IMAP account on this Outlook. This issue started happening two days ago. All along, the app was working just fine. There isn't much information on the internet to help with resolving this. Could you please assist?
