Apple gift cards? What can you do with them?

I’ve got the codes and would like to know what they use them for? Is there a way to track these Apple gift cards to see what they were used for?

Hello~ In addition to *Jeff Donald’s* excellent post if the gift cards were redeemed by someone else on their Apple ID you can’t track how they were used.
