Getting "Failed to load devices" in AppleID settings

I am running Sonoma 14.2 on an M2 Macbook Air

If I go to System Settings > AppleID is see the notification 'Failed to load devices' as below

If I search for iCloud > iCloud AppleID, then the pane to the right is completely blank.

I want to be able to set up "find devices" but when I go to icloud/find it just spins and then says 'no devices', presumably because I haven't been able to set it up.

What could be going wrong - is it a Sonoma thing?

'Find my Mac' can't be switched on in iCloud settings Hi! I am experiencing an issue with the 'Find' app on my MacBook Pro. Basically, I can't switch on the settings to make it work in the section 'Apple ID' in system preferences. When opening the 'Find' app, it tells me to go to the system preferences to "Log in". In system preferences, the 'Find my mac' is missing a checkmark. Trying to activate it, just removes the checkmark again. Have tried to open Localization settings, and all 'Find' settings is togglet on there. Any clue what to do here to make it work?

I had the same issue.

I just had to "Sign Out" and "Sign In" again and it works fine.
