Is Apple Watch causing finger lumps?

My wrist smells terrible after removing my watch. I just wash it with soap and use a damp soapy cloth on my watch that smells. Now I have two inflamed fingers on the left side where I have worn my watch daily since 2020/21. Has anyone else experienced this?

This definitely sounds like something that you should see a dermatologist about!

You could have some sort of persistent fungal or bacterial skin infection. Not something to mess around with.
