2018 mac mini i3. both ventura and sonoma, even with keyboard and trackpad disconnected.

any view that can zoom in, will zoom in, in any app, in steps. cmd+0 resets the view as expected, but immediately zooms in again.

any view that can scroll down, will scroll down and any drop menu selection that can move down, will move down from cursor position, repeatedly.

behavior persists across restarts, across a system upgrade, across NVRAM reset.
