A .tar.gz or .tgz file is a compressed archive file format that is a combination of two other archive formats, namely TAR (tape archive) and GZIP. The TAR format is used to store multiple files into one archive...

you can try changing the compression if you have an issue as is.

The upload of this web site has format restrictions, supporting three types:.zip,.tar, and.tar.gz. I used three browsers, Chrome, Edge, and Safari, under macOS 14.4.1, and the file selection interfaces popped up by all three browsers do not support.tar.gz. On the same website, in the browsers under Windows 11 and macOS 12, the.tar.gz file can be normally selected.
