Apple CarPlay Doesn’t return to Radio after voice to text
Whenever I’m connected to CarPlay and listening to the car radio, if I use voice to text for a message or something it doesn’t return to the Radio source after ending the message. I have to hit the radio source button each time. It never used to do this.
I am not sure I have seen any behavior other than what you currently see. How would CarPlay know what you want to do? For example, how would it know you only wanted to reply once to a text message and then return to the radio interface versus staying in the CarPlay interface?
I'm not sure what would have changed the behavior you are seeing. As far as I know, there is no way to control that. Perhaps a recent iOS update or an update to the software in your car changed the behavior.
