I mark my reminders complete and/or delete them from my complete list and they continue to show up on my other devices. It doesn’t matter where I mark them complete or deleted from complete they don’t sync. These are all recurring reminders and they all show up on app devices but the completed function doesn’t sync and deleting the completed doesn’t sync.
