Why are my live photos disappearing?

I used to have 5k photos and now I’m up to 2k… Ive checked many times and I saw that my live photos (just live photos) were deleted from my photos. I have space on my Icloud 200gb, Ive checked to get it back from my icloud and it didnt work. I dont know what to do.
