FaceTime no longer working iPhone 14 Pro

FaceTime no longer is working - you can see the icon, however it is dim. I haven't changed any settings so I'm not sure what's going on! I have followed the steps I have found from Apple, however I am signed in with my Apple ID and have checked my Messages settings. There is no FaceTime options in Settings.
