Unusual Apple Pay Later denial reason

Thank you for your interest in Apple Pay Later. Apple Financing LLC has reviewed your application, and it was not approved at this time because:

• You were declined because we detected suspicious activity for one or more of the following: your identity, your usage of Apple products, your usage of Apple devices

As far as identity, couldn’t even attempt to guess why that got flagged, all my stuff is clean and I check reports regularly for discrepancies.

Usage of Apple Products & Devices, I did have to restore my iPhone quite a number of times and had to reinstall my eSIM’s subsequently. That’s all I’ve done lately, not quite sure if that would trigger.

Does anyone have any idea why this occurs? How long does this “block” last?
