Verification code incorrect all the time

When I purchase something I need to put in the verification code but when I do, it always says it wrong even though I typed in quickly and correctly. I need help!

Who is sending a verification code? What type of payment method are you trying to use? Verification codes normally aren’t required in the US.

Well I am using Apple Pay but it's Family Sharing so the provider or I guess the leader of the family gets the code. we put it and its always wrong
