Synchronised clip problem

Why if I cut a synchronised clip (synced audio and video) and put objects inside of one region, it doesn't appear in the rest regions like if I used a compound clip? How can add an object to all regions in this situation by just adding it to one region?

A sync clip is to combined a single video file with one or more audio files.

A multicam clip allows you to combine multiple synced video files and use the angle viewer to switch between them in the project timeline.

A compound clip is simply a static container. Any changes to the contents means opening the container and then making any adjustments to accommodate the compound’s changes in the project, making the compound longer or shorter. Compounds are really most useful for combining clips to create effects, otherwise it’s quite a clumsy tool.

Not sure how you were able to put these layers of video inside the sync clip. As Tom said, it is meant for one video and one or more audio clips, not multiple video clips.

But try this:

1) Select the Sync Clip in the browser and try Clip->Open Clip.

2) In the Sync Clip timeline, insert the object in question.

3) Step out of this timeline, and try to playback the Sync Clip in the browser. Does it work as you expect?

4) If the previous steps succeed: select one of the sections in the timeline, and press Shift-F. Drag the selected portion in the browser over that section in the timeline. Choose Replace.

If that part is working as desired, repeat this process for each of the other parts of the clip in the timeline.
