calendar on iPhone doesn't show anything

My calendar on my iPhone is totally blank. I just tried putting an event in and it worked, but next time I checked it was not in my calendar on my iPhone but it shows in my Mac. This problem started when I logged out of both iPhone and Mac and logged back in. What should I check?
