Delay between iTunes Store purchase and Music app on iOS

I have the same issue, except in my case I find the music can take one or two days to finalize. It often sits as "pending" in purchases overnight. I use the Moises music app and have to buy the music to load it into Moises. I have all kinds of issues with when the music actually shows up, and when it actually becomes available to use in Moises. I'm buying the music from Apple to use on my Apple devices, nowhere else, so why on earth does it take so long to have the music fully available in the Music app?

There's some serious discombobulation here Apple! This should have been fixed long ago.

Apple, really getting tired of this BS. You’re a billion dollar company and iTunes was at one point your main business. Really is annoying having to wait for something paid for and should be downloaded, INSTANTLY. Get your **** together!

Hello - same situation here. Few extra points :

• purchases made in the phone are not immediately available in the music app…(just like you)
• those same purchases, on the other hand, are IMMEDIATELY downloaded into my Mac….

also

• using Apple Card… and
• with a Apple Music subscription active…

noted that if you log off the music app and back on purchase becomes visible.

Same problem here and already since weeks…. Apple please help, as I already think about changing to Spotify… this is very much frustrating….. 🤔

Same issue. I purchase and then have to wait hours to have the music show up in my library.

Same issue here still it’s been happening for a couple months now.

Exactly the issues and frustrations expressed here by others. And it was also about 4 months ago it started to happen. I used to have instant access to the music I purchased.

I have restarted, checked settings, turned on/off sync. It’s still a day or two for single songs or whole albums. Nothing seems to work, it just appears whenever it finally decides to.

Just move one song up or down in one of your already existing music libraries, and your download will afterwards immediatly appear…. very strange, but this way it always works…

go to phone settings-> select your apple id-> media & purchases-> sign out.

my downloaded music immediately appeared!

Same problem. Wish someone would do something about this. Apple store, Apple music app, Apple phone. You’d think it would all integrate seamlessly since it’s the default apps on the device, all with the same account. But I purchase something and it takes at least a full day to appear in my itunes library. So annoying. Makes me want to use a different service. I don’t buy an album because I want to listen tomorrow. I want to listen on this road trip starting now!

Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps, such as signing out and back into your iTunes account, or resetting your device's network settings, to see if it resolves the delay issue?

(however I never used to have to do this. The purchase appeared in my music app immediately after I’d paid, so Apple need to see why this is happening, or give an explanation as to why)
