iPhone 14 Pro deleting playlist contents when connected to MacBook Air

The contents of ALL my playlists get deleted when my iPhone 14 Pro (iOS 17.4.1) is connected to my New MacBook Air (M3, 14.4.1) with sync music library checked.


But is unchecked its ok.


Any help is appreciated.

Avoiding Deleted Playlists:

In order to sync Apple Music across devices, you need to have an Apple Music Subscription. So, get the subscription, and it will sync across all devices. Go here: Apple Music - Apple

Perform a New iCloud Session:

Log out of iCloud on all of your devices, one-device-at-a-time. Shut them down, and then power them back up. Then, log back in to iCloud, one-device-at-a-time. Perhaps it all needs to sync?
