Good evening, I am using Quick Fox VPN (for China).
I have a corporate network account, which with vpn on/off, when it goes to sleep mode and try to login again it crashes and nothing works anymore (entering the user and password data turns the wheel and won't let me login. Does anyone have any ideas about this? How can I solve this? Thanks.

It isn’t about benefiting the OS, it’s about securing user connections an extra notch for a variety of reasons, legit & illegit. And macOS providing the necessary hooks for it.
+1 to the rest of your caution.
Also , unless your employer dictates you must use their VPN app please uninstall the VPN app installed!!! Mac OS is incredibly secure and does not require or benefit from any of the following types of third party apps:
These apps have the exact opposite effect users want and they make Mac OS unstable, unsecure and appear buggy.
Please leave the OS alone and let it do its job. To keep Mac OS remaining secure simply keep it up to date and restart your computer about 1x per week.
Use the settings exactly as shown below, might fix. Display off timer is your choice.
Important: for long absences or overnights, do not manual sleep, shut instead (or let the Mac stay on with display switching off on timer.

The go-to place for help with office computers is your office IT department...ask them. Otherwise, disconnecting VPNs when not in use is actually good practice i.e safer. Likewise for shutting the computer down when not using for long periods. Anyways, good luck!
Unfortunately, there is no IT office here. However given the constant movement between on, off, pause, meetings,... it is quite confusing (we have already suggested disconnection but wanted to see if in our own small way we could solve the problem at the source).
Because the user in question is on a Local Network and my guess is that it conflicts with the VPN and when it has to log back in from sleep mode it can't find the user. In your opinion can we try adding some AppleScript .sh file to disable the VPN when it goes into sleepmode and re-enable it pre-login? Thanks again!

I think the problem is when i put my iMac in "lock screen" mode.
Because i try to access after that and my network account is freeze (and i need to force the shutdown and restart it). Hope you guys can help me...
I don’t see a difference between what the script does and manually disconnecting the VPN which is just a button-click away. It might even complicate things. Nevertheless, go ahead and try, if it works for you, great.
The problem is that the VPN software is installed, please uninstall per the developers directions and then test. Your problem will likely disappear which at the same time proves the issue was caused by the VPN app itself. Having it "turned off" does nothing, the app has modified Mac OS and possibly damaged it. After uninstalling the app then restart the Mac in Safe Mode and then restart normally and test the computer.
Then your employer should provide you with a high quality VPN app. If it is not working then you need to contact your employer IT department. They should be providing you with a computer that is set up for remote work.
I have an older MacOS version in my device and i think there isn't that function (I don't find it).
I'm using an Intel 2014 iMac 21' with MacOS Mojave 10.14.6.
I use VPN to connect from Europe to China. And I need it. I don't have any solution. If it were up to me, I wouldn't install anything in it as you said (I approve your reflection)
it's a continuous shut up and down and up and down and up and down ...
this is a good solution for a personal pc, not for an office computer...
