Air pod pro caused problems with ears - have apple resolved all these issues and changed the products

Hi I saw a lot of messages about ear problems caused by AirPods. I wondered if apple had changed the attends of the air pods in the last couple of years so that people no longer suffer these problems? has it worked and stopped these problems? wondering about buying a new pair thats all. tried so many different types but none as good as the air pro pods thanks
