SPAM Texts on Watch Not Phone

Starting today, I noticed I had unread texts on my watch but none on my phone. Looking on my watch, there have been three today (today is the first day this has occurred after having the watch for over a year). Each came from an email address and had the same message about someone hiring but all three came from different email addresses, typically ending in the Russian suffix. I look on my phone and these same messages don't appear. I am being notified on watch and phone about all other texts throughout the day but these sort of slipped in on the watch with no notification besides me seeing the notification.
