Hi. Which Apple Pencil would be compatible with the new iPad Air that comes out May 2024? I want to know if the Apple pencil (Second Generation) would work. I don't want the USB-C one. Thanks.

The new 2024 iPad Air specifications state compatibility with the USB-C Pencil and the new Apple Pencil Pro.
The existing first and second generation Pencils are fundamentally not compatible with the 2024 models of iPad Air and iPad Pro.
The second generation Apple Pencil will not work. Either the USB-C or the new Apple Pencil Pro is required.
