I had an old email address. Updated my Apple ID to new details with new email address. However when I want to buy or upgrade an App it uses the old email address instead of new. Where can I delete that old email address

Apps are forever associated with the Apple ID under which they were purchased. That can never be changed. The only thing you can do is download the apps using the new Apple ID. Apparently, the previous poster misunderstood your question.
For the future, when you change an email address, do not create a new Apple ID. Just update the one you have now. It will save you lots of hassle.
Go into settings, Apple ID, sign in and security. Deselect the email addresses you would like removed.
That exactly the problem. The old email address doesn’t display as an option to be removed.
How about the contacts app? Is your personal contacts card accurate including your email address? Perhaps your default payment card’s email address isn’t updated to the new address?

After all, I had to delete the Aop and reload it. I am so furious and frustrated that I ever downloaded or engaged with Apple, iTunes and the rest. Nothing but hassles and nightmares.
