iPhone 15 Pro, night mode of dark sky, very bright in center; overexposed in the middle of the photo

When using night mode on my new iPhone 15 Pro, the camera automatically goes to the three second mode which works well, but the center area of the photo is much brighter than the rest of the photo, even though the night sky is uniformly dark. The processor seems to be Over brightening the center half of the photo, while leaving the remaining half around the center looking like they should. I am uploading a good example; you might have to expand by clicking show more then show less then show more, to see the entire photo. Lenses are clean. Any ideas? Thank you
