Muffled Keys On GarageBand

When I’m making music on GarageBand with the keyboard, every 2-5 notes I hit, the sound is super muffled & quiet, & I feel like I’m hitting the Key in the same exact spot I hit it on 6 notes ago, & it sounded great when I hit it that time..?

Does anyone else have this problem? Or know how to fix it?
