Heating and Charging Issues on iPhone 12 after IOS 17.5 update

Hello Everyone, I have been facing issues of Heating and Charging Hold on iPhone 12 after the latest 17.5 update. Even though the phone is not in use and completely under normal temperature, the charging of the phone stops at 80% every time after this latest update. I am pretty sure its a Bug in the Software of the phone and hence urge the concerned team to fix it ASAP with an Update.

Thanks..

Dr_Himan ~ One possible reason for stopping at 80% is that this is set ON:

Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging > Optimised Battery Charging

And one possible reason for heating issues is a degraded battery, so...

Does your iPhone 12 still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging

Dr_Himan ~ Although 85% health is not around Apple's recommended 80% level for battery replacement, your iPhone 12 could be 3½ yeats old. As such, its original battery is likely degraded from age & recharging cycles — possibly causing the heating issues. So consider battery replacement soon, rather than be forced at a later, perhaps inconvenient, time:
