iCal travel time calculation not available

When I enter an event in iCal, I get travel time, but no calculation of travel time. I’ve tried entering the suggested location (I assume iOS is picking that up from Maps). I’m using iOS 17 on an iPhone SE 2020. iOS - I assume that’s picking it up from maps. My location services are turned on. Anyone have any ideas?
