Why is the Airpod Pro 2 “find my” sound for individual buds so quiet?

I lost my left ear bud after it fell out of my ear and rolled under my cabinet out of sight. I had to use Find My to find it. I was less than a meter away from it and I could barely hear the find my sound that came out of it, let alone where the sound was coming from. It took me an unreasonable amount of time to find considering I lost it about 2 seconds after it was just in my ear, and even after I had found it the sound was still so faint I wasn’t even sure it was playing.

I guess my question is if there’s anyway to turn that sound up, because I was in a completely quiet room with no distractions or anything playing out loud and I could barely hear it from a meter away from me. You wouldn’t have been able to hear it if there was even a fan blowing in the room.
