iPadOS Files app and SMB Path access Still broke since 2020

Connecting to a WD My Book Live Duo use the File on IPad has not been possible since 2020. This issue remain unresolved. In the mean time none Apple File apps such as FE File Explorer does function as advertised.

As seen above it fails.

with FE File Explorer it works. Thus clearly demonstrating the issue resides within Apple’s OS
