MBP 2021. Since updating to 14.3 last night, Music will not play any tracks from my library. If I try to play from an album, nothing happens at all. If I try to play from a playlist, I get the beachball and have to force quit. I'm a music teacher and use these playlists every day, please advise!

This worked for me and was quite painless, so hopefully, it may help some of you also.
I went into Music>>Settings>>Files and changed the location of my Music Media Folder, which then generates a new Library file but doesn't move the audio files. I then went back in and changed it again, back to it's original location and the Library file rebuilt again, after which Music worked perfectly.

This just worked for me: Under the "Privacy & Security" tab of System Settings, 1) drag the Music app from the Applications folder into the "Media & Apple Music" list then enable; 2) add the Music app from Applications folder to the list under the "Full Disk Access" tab then enable
Resolution: This worked for me. Simply do a "File" and "Import" of your existing music files. 😎
I think I got it. I imported, signed out, and signed in. Nothing worked. I went to settings > Privacy and security > Media & Apple Music. In there, I added Apple Music. Afterwards, I synced my Library and everything is working the way it was before the update.
I was a bit worried about the Apple Music app not working after the 14.3 update.

I sent a bug report to Apple about this. This shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Here is what seems to work for me. The problem is in the permissions. Apparently Sonoma didn't update properly.
Go to Settings/Privacy & Security/Files and Folders, scroll down to Music and enable "Removable Volumes." My music files are on an external USB drive. I enabled some other things in Privacy settings related to Music, but I think this is the one that worked.
I have thousands of music files though. That would take me a year.
What worked for me is System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access then add Music.
I have the exact same issue but I found a workaround. Right-click on the track you want to play, select Display in Finder. When the track is displayed in Finder, double-click it; it will start to play! From now on, you can play that track directly in the Music App.
I have files in different locations, none in my media folder. What worked for me was selecting all of my tracks in Apple Music > right click > services > show in finder > with all of the tracks still selected in finder > right click > open
It will open (relink) all your tracks and they should work. Hope this helps someone else
Just an update that none of these proposed solutions worked for me, nor did 30 minutes with support. The only way I can play tracks is to go to "reveal in finder" and open from there, which I'm not about to do with a thousand albums. This app is broken for me.
Same here. For clarity, this is with my library of music files, and not streaming. Nothing happens when hitting play to any song or the beachball appears.
When using Apple Music on my iMac playing songs in the cloud (iTunes Match) stop after 14 seconds. I have signed out, and signed in. Changed playback settings. Nothing fixes the problem. You can see from image it loads the first 14 seconds and then nothing.
I dont see option for Display in the Finder. My music is in the cloud using iTunes match,
I have Apple Music streaming broken from 14.2 update. If I try to play anything, app freezes, and only Force quit possible.
No solution still.
