I am getting ‘your device is not connected to the internet’ when trying to listen to Podcasts

i start listening to a podcast, but when i go outside, i get "your device is not connected to the internet"

since it already had the podcast, why does it want to be connected to the internet?

Perhaps you did not in fact download the episode to your device but instead you are listening to an online stream. Or possibly, you have downloaded the episode but you are listening to the online stream, rather than the copy on your device.


If there's a cloud icon next to the episode you're listening to, that strongly suggests that you're using the online stream.
