opening Msg in Finder

How do I open Msg in Finder? If I choose open in 'mail' it attaches to an email and I still can't open it.

Thanks for that explanation. Like many macOS apps, the Mac's Mail app stores and organizes email messages in its own manner and for its own purposes. They are not intended to be opened or examined outside of that app with the Finder or by any other means.

In Finder emails are stored as messages MSG. Trouble is when I open in email app it opens as an attachment on an email. If I click on the attachment it duplicates itself as another email with the same attachment. So with what do I open it? I have Safari as my default web browser and have tried to open in Google but they always come up with a page saying there is a temporary problem and to try again later.

So I am stuck for ideas of what to do next.
