Does smtp.mail.me.com have logfiles?

Dear community,

I am using a postfix server to send mails via smtp.mail.me.com.

The logfile of postfix shows a succesful delivery:

smtp[13782] : to=<xxxxxxxxxxx@Live.com>, relay=smtp.mail.me.com[17.57.155.28]:587,

delay=7.5, delays=1.4/0.09/5.5/0.46, dsn=2.0.0,

status=sent (250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as xxxxxxxxxxx)

Unfortunately, after 9 hours the mail has not yet arrived at its final destination.

( two other mails, sent at the same moment, have succesfully arrived )

Do the mailaserver at smtp.mail.me.com have any logfiles which I can check

to see what has been done with the one mail?

Thanks in advance,

Ben

The acronym "LOL" just doesn't suffice here. 😄

I strongly recommend that you don't try anything fancy with iCloud e-mail. A number of major e-mail providers have significantly enhanced security requirements the past couple of years. These kinds of old-school SMTP relays are not going to be reliable.

A better alternative would be AWS Simple Email Service. But even there, I don't know how well relays will be supported. But at least AWS has plenty of logs for you to consult.
