Has anyone seen an update to 17.4.1 since apple users can't send text messages w/pics to Android users?

These are fellow user-supported public sites and neither Apple nor Apple product teams participate here. There is no means to know what the product teams are working on. When iOS/iPadOS 17.5 is released you may have your answer.
The iOS 17.4.1 is the last released version.
It broke my ability to send pictures via texts to Android users.
I spoke with Apple and they advised that they are working on a patch.
Any update to that situation??
Any update to latest ISO 17.4.1 ?
