The Photos.app slideshows are good, but the Ken Burns effect needs a manual control to target the sweet spots of the photos, especially for a funeral slideshow where a person needs to be highlighted in each photo. is this possible? I cannot find any way to control the Ken Burns zoom.
Any tips?

I am running Sonoma, yes. I have not tested this on Ventura.
To see these controls I have to select a photo on a slide in the film strip, not on the title slide. And it is only working for the Ken Burns theme.
It makes sense, that is only available for the Ken Burns theme. This are exactly the same controls for the Ken Burns effect as in iMovie.
I cannot find any Settings to preserve the Ken Burns effect Settings when changing the theme. I would create a duplicate Slideshow to test different themes, and only invest work in editing the timing, effects, title slides once I have decided which theme to use.
Richard, in your screenshot I can also see the "KenBurns" button, right above the "Preview" button; it is early hidden in the grass and very faint.
Try to hit it.
I just tested on my older Mac with Ventura 13.5. It is working the same as on Sonoma.

You can do that too somewhat by zooming in on both the start and end and playing the start at one edge and the end at the other.

Yes, I have Ventura, and it's there in Photos Version 8.0 (560.0.110)
Does anyone know if it's possible to Save the Ken Burns settings when creating a SlideShow, so that if you try a different theme, or close and come back later, the settings are still there?
