How can I download podcasts to my iPod Classic

What can't you get into, do you mean iTunes? Why not, what happens when you open or attempt to open iTunes?

Where do you see a message telling you that "they're are not taking new clients"? Who is "they"?

Basically, you should be able to download Podcasts to your iTunes Library and then synchronise them (Sync) with your iPod Classic. At which point does this procedure fail to work as you expect and what do you actually expect to happen?
