I upgraded to Sonoma and now Wifi and Network are blank in my Apple settings and I have no wifi in menu bar

I upgraded to Sonoma, the upgrade stalled, the bar was only ant a third done. I looked at advice that told me to restart and hold the option button. Upon restarting the mac was now in Sonoma but now I can’t see anything in the WIFI or the Network options inside the System settings - they are both blank, and the WiFi symbol isn’t showing up on my menu bar either so I am unable to connect to the internet.

please help!
