How can I remove the Activation lock on my iPad mini?

If you have the original purchase receipt you can submit that to apple with all the other information such as serial number etc... and Apple will remove the activation lock. If you do not have the original receipt from original purchase when it was brand new then Apple will not remove it. Simply click on the link below then scroll to the main bottom and click on "start an activation lock removal request".
