The variations of which I am aware are:

  • 13" vs. 15" screen
  • RAM: 8 GB, 16 GB, or 24 GB
  • Internal SSD space: 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, or 2 TB
  • Number of GPU cores: 8 or 10 (on 13" models); 10 (on 15" models)

You can get a M2 MacBook Air to tell you a lot about itself by going into  > About This Mac, or into Option- > System Information…

There are also presumably country and regional variants for things like keyboards and bundled power bricks. For instance, the Technical Specifications mention "U.S." and "ISO" keyboards. The power adapters shipped for, say, the U.K., would presumably have different plugs than those shipped for the U.S.

Note that M3 MacBook Airs are out. Apple no longer sells new 15" M2 MacBook Airs, and is only selling new 13" ones as "price point" models.
