Upgraded to 2TB, do I get any credit for unused portion of 200GB plan?

The constant nagging about my wife's and my 200GB iCloud storage plan being full and our phones n0o longer being backed up finally got to me and I upgraded to the 2TB plan. My 200GB plan was paid through May 25 but now it says my 2TB plan will renew on June 11 and I was charged the full $9.99. Isn't there any credit for the paid portion of the 200GB plan and shouldn't the un used portion have been applied to the new plan? Honestly I expected it would have been and had I known I would have waited to upgrade. I realize it's only a small amount but it's the kind of thing Apple just normally does and I was surprised they did not.
