MacBook turned off and didn't turn on and its MagSafe charger ca'nt charge

Ihellow i am using macbook a1280 2008 edition but i have problem with it because it turned off and didnt turn on and its magsafe charger has lower light green and cant charge anyone can help please. tried to set SMC but i didn't work
