TS1875: Error -2096 message when opening QuickTime for Windows in Compatibility Mode

I down loaded Quick Time for windows in My "Windows XP SP3" computer. I got an Icon on the desktop but when I tried to open it I got This; Quick Time failed to initialize Error code #2096.
