If you were just looking for what the retail installer discs looked like, I have taken the information from this tip to help out:

Can I download my Mac OS upgrade?

User uploaded file Mac OS 7.6

User uploaded file Mac OS 8.0 & 8.1 (see fine print)

User uploaded file Mac OS 8.5 and 8.5.1

User uploaded file Mac OS 8.6

User uploaded file. Mac OS 9.0. 9.0.2, 9.0.4, 9.1, and 9.2.1

User uploaded file Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah and 10.1 Puma

User uploaded file Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar

User uploaded file Mac OS X 10.3 Panther

User uploaded file Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger

User uploaded fileMac OS X 10.5 Leopard

User uploaded file Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Some of these disks that have the same label may say Update, Dropin, or OEM on them, and should not be confused for the retail versions.

Intermediate releases may have had the same label can be used on Macs that shipped with an older version of the same operating system. The one exception is that Tiger could not be installed from retail 10.4 installer discs on Intel Macs, even though 10.4.6 retail existed, and 10.4.4 Intel system specifics discs existed.
