I do not like cluttering the menu items in the upper right hand corner of my screen. You can add a character view in this way through >System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard>
My user tip is a simple shortcut—an under utilized and often overlooked keyboard shortcut.
Control command spacebar will open this character viewer to insert Emojis ⚠️ , math¹⁵ symbols, etc.
By double clicking your selection, it is easy enough to insert your emoji of choice.
(You can start typing in the search window to see the list of related Emojis to make your selection.)
