Photos: Available Photo Book Sizes & Themes

Photos app on Mac allows for creation and printing of Photo Books. This guide summarizes all book sizes and themes available in Photos v. 1.5 (US).

Photo books can be laid out in Classic (rectangular) and Square formats. Both are available for order as hardcover and softcover binding options. Softcover books are generally offered in smaller, but therefore, less expensive sizes.

Photos offers different Themes, or layout appearances. Some include only images, others include short labels and some include space for paragraph-length text fields. Select a theme to see available page layout options.

Currently, there are 27 themes for Classic photo books...

... and 23 themes for Square books.

Not all themes come pre-loaded with Photos. If there is an iCloud icon superimposed on a theme cover sample, that theme will be downloaded before you can use it in your Project.
