Create Alphabetical List of Apps Installed on your iPhone/iPad

- Connect your iPhone to your computer with USB cable.
- Launch iTunes.
- Click on the little iPhone button on the top tool bar
- Then on the menu: File → Devices → Transfer Purchased from "Your iPhone"
- After this sync process is completed (might take some time) go to the mobile apps folder open Terminal App
- Type the following command into the terminal window:
ls ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Media/Mobile\ Applications > ~/Desktop/App_List.txt
you can copy/paste that command into the terminal window
This will create a file called App_List.txt on the desktop with a list of all the apps installed on your iPhone sorted alphabetically.
