Since iOS 10, its been possible to delete pre-installed Apple Apps and as such have the need to re-install them after deletion.

Apple offers the following support document with instructions on how to find the Apple default Apps, however many are still having trouble finding the Apps.

Delete built-in Apple apps on your iOS 12 device or Apple Watch - Apple Support

This user tip offers a list of direct clickable / tappable urls to deletable built-in Apple Apps in the App Store.

These links when tapped on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch will automatically open the App Store App, and load the relevant App's entry in the store so it can be downloaded.

Note: If opened on a computer, the links will open the App Store website to the relevant App. But you will not be able to download the apps directly on a computer. Only on an iOS device.

Once the App Store App has opened, and the specific App is being shown, there should be a User uploaded file icon that can be tapped to initiate the download of the app to the device.

Some Apps are only available for certain devices. The Calculator App for instance is only available for iPhones and iPod Touches, and as such cannot be downloaded to an iPad. In those cases, there will be no cloud icon, or it will be grayed out.

If the entry in the App Store App for a specific App has an OPEN button instead of the cloud icon, that means the App is currently installed on the device. If so, you'll need to look for it as it may have been inadvertently moved to different home screen or into a folder or even Restricted as some Apps can be.

If it has been restricted, you can go to Settings->General->Restrictions, and make sure its not turned off, or otherwise restricted.

Also some Apps are only available in certain regions. The News App for instance may not be downloadable outside of the stores for Australia, the U.K and the U.S.

Other Apps such as Facetime, may be banned or restricted to specific carriers in certain regions . When outside of these regions, or using cellular / mobile carriers other than the ones that are allowed, these Apps will be prevented from showing up on the device or being downloaded to it from the store.
