change security questions and answers , password for Apple ID

Change security questions and answers , password in a Mac for existing Apple ID by entering in system preferences and clicking on iCloud > account details , again click on security .

( 1) click on change security questions .

( 2 ) A window appears .

Change security questions .

Select three security questions below and memorise your answers , they will be used to verify your identity and allow you to reset password , click on drop down arrows for question field , select a question and type the answer in answer field .

Fill up the same for rest of fields and click on change .


If you want to change the Apple ID password , click on change password .

Your password must be at least 8 characters long and include a number , an upper case letter and a lower case letter .

Curent password ……

New password …….

Verify …….

Fill up the credentials and click on change , finally click on done then you can quit system preferences .
