Tables in TextEdit

When you create an RTF document in TextEdit and insert a table, you can change the position of the row and column dividers as per the Help file. If you create a Microsoft Word document, you can still drag the table dividers but the changes are not saved - the next time you open the doc. you will be back to the equal row and column spacings of the doc. as first created.
