'12 & '15 PowerBook G4 Battery Exchange

This seems to be a very frequently asked question regarding why '12 & '15 PowerBook G4 batteries die so quickly. This should enable the respective forums involved to have more room for other topics by directing all Level 2 & higher posters asking about it to this forum rather than answering the question directly so that the forums in question have more capacity for more interesting Topics.
Update: When this Tip is finalized a better title for it would be '12 & '15 PowerBook G4 Battery Exchange Program. There could also be a duplicate of it for the iBook G4 since it is covered by the same Battery Exchange Program too.
